The 2013 Conference on the Environment: A Bi-National Sustainability Summit attracted environmental professionals and community leaders from around the globe for three days of exceptional learning and networking opportunities that expanded their environmental circle, broadened their conservation vision, and sharpened their “green” skills.
The conference took place October 3-5, 2013 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo, New York, and featured an agenda dedicated to helping environmental and planning professionals, government representatives, community organization representatives, and environmental advocates of all backgrounds respond to opportunities and challenges and explore the real-world application of the latest in environmental management. Attendees learned from experts in the environmental and allied fields, experienced the diverse neighborhoods that compose the dynamic Buffalo-Niagara Region, and left with new-found knowledge that can be applied to their community’s environmental and planning agenda.
